Shipping and Handling

Frequently Asked Questions

Gourds have to be packed before we can check the cost of shipping.

We Must have your Zipcode to determine the cost of shipping.

We always try to get your order into as few boxes as the size of the gourds and
quantity of your order will allow.

Handling charge is $5 per box.

Domestic:
We have found that USPS is the most cost effective way for us to ship boxes from our location. Many other
methods have add-on charges, or fees to come to the farm. It is also the quickest way for you to get your
shipment at a reasonable price. Once the gourds are shipped, most locations are delivered in 2-6 days
depending on which side of the USA you reside. We rarely have reports of damaged gourds with this method of
shipping. However, recently ALL the shipping methods have gone to dimensional rates which can be very high to
some locations. To keep costs down we will be glad to ship the least expensive method.

International:
Orders will be accepted on an individual basis.
Each country has it's own Customs rules as to what can be shipped in.  Some are very strict and have special
requirements for shippers, packaging materials, and contents; many have duty fees and miscellaneous charges.

If you are in another country, each order will be checked to see if it is feasible to ship.
Often the cost is so high, the regulations so strict, or the time it takes to arrive is so long, it is not practical to do.
