Gourdcrafting is described as the marriage of art and nature and we think that is the
perfect description. Nature presents us with intriguing shapes and rich colors in the
form of gourds. They have a beauty all their own and each is unique. With a few
simple tools and supplies that beauty can be enhanced in a myriad of ways to create
functional as well as decorative objects.

You don't have to be an artist to create unique art from gourds. You don't need
any expensive, specialized equipment either. Most gourdcrafting can be done with
household objects and materials you already have on hand.
